ABOUT ME
I was born and raised in Arcadia,
CA to Ken and Suzie Mosier, the best parents a girl could ever
ask for. My performing career started by singing on the monkey
bars in my backyard when I was 5, where I would perch every
summer morning and sing Beach Boys tunes at the top of my lungs,
serving as an alarm clock for the neighbors. I grew up
performing in whatever I could get my hands on, mostly in church
and school plays, where I got to exercise my talents playing
various barn-yard animals and Apostles. When I was eight, I
suffered from a bone growth disorder and spent three years of my
life unable to walk. Since I was unable to participate in things
most kids at that age do, it was then that I became very
involved in singing and acting. I graduated High School at the
age of 16, not so much because I was smart, but because I was
bored. I started attending Pasadena City College, where I
studied Classical Voice. I was placed in an Opera/Musical
Theater workshop, where the emphasis was on Opera, and I spent
most of the time arguing with the teacher over assigned
material.
I moved to New York the week after I turned 18 to attend the
American Musical and Dramatic Academy. I lived on Ben and
Jerry’s and Ramen noodles for eight months, while doing
repetitive verb exercises, and learning the importance of
acting
a song. I took a semester off from school, got a job and never
went back. I lived in 9 different places in my first two years
in New York, including Spanish Harlem and Staten Island, and had
seven different jobs. My first job was Assistant Director turned
Swing in the national tour of Tommy which made one stop
by the time I joined it. After that ended, I needed money, so I
started working as a Child Wrangler for Broadway shows. It was
the best training and education I could have ever asked for, I
met some great people, AND I got paid! I continued to work as an
actor in regional theater, and then one windy April day I
auditioned for a production of Jekyll and Hyde in
Massachusetts. Jekyll and Hyde changed my life. Through
that show I met my husband, David, my agent, the director of The
Company (a NY based theater company which I am currently
involved in), and some very dear friends. As thankful as I was
for my Regional Theater experiences, I was tired of working in
the middle of nowhere for no money, so I began to pursue
Modeling, Film and TV. I was fortunate enough to book recurring
roles on One Life to Live and As the World Turns,
several showroom and print jobs, as well as a mirage of
“unique” commercials.
I am grateful I get paid to do the work I love and blessed for
all the experiences and people life has offered me. I’m living
in one of the best times of my life and I am excited to see
what’s next! Thanks for visiting my site.
