When I first moved to New York, I couldn’t afford anything, much less any sort of gifts, so I started baking chocolate chip cookies as thank-you gifts for everyone I knew. Turns out, they were pretty darn good. While working as a Child Wrangler, I would bring in my chocolate chip cookies to the theater on a weekly basis. It gave me a chance to improve my recipe by experimenting on a bunch of hungry actors and stagehands. My cookies were so well received that I decided to turn it into a business. In October 2005, I opened up Little Red’s Bakery.
